Our Hiring Process

Application Submitted – Complete and submit the online application form.
Initial Application Review – We review your qualifications and experience to determine if you're a good fit for our inspector network.
Interview – Selected applicants participate in a brief interview to discuss their experience, availability, and service area.
Background Check – Candidates who move forward in the process will be invited to complete a background check.
Independent Contractor Agreement – Approved candidates review and sign our Independent Contractor Agreement.
OMOZERH Onboarding – Complete a brief onboarding session covering OMOZERH inspection standards, reporting requirements, communication expectations, and operating procedures.
Approved Inspector – Once onboarding is complete, you'll be added to the OMOZERH Inspector Network and become eligible to receive inspection opportunities.

1. Am I an employee of OMOZERH?

No. Inspectors in the OMOZERH Inspector Network work as independent contractors (1099) and are not employees of OMOZERH.

2. Will I receive a W-2?

No. Approved inspectors receive a Form 1099-NEC (or other applicable tax documentation) if required by law. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes.

3. Do I choose my own schedule?

Yes. You have the flexibility to accept or decline inspection opportunities based on your availability.

4. How often will work be available?

Inspection opportunities vary based on customer demand, your service area, availability, and business needs. While we cannot guarantee a specific number of assignments, we strive to distribute opportunities fairly among qualified inspectors.

5. Do I need my own tools and equipment?

Yes. Inspectors are expected to provide and maintain the tools and equipment necessary to perform professional pre-purchase vehicle inspections.

6. Is ASE certification required?

ASE certification is preferred but not required. Applicants with strong automotive diagnostic experience and relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.

7. Do I need previous inspection experience?

Previous vehicle inspection experience is beneficial but not required. Applicants should have solid automotive diagnostic knowledge and experience evaluating vehicle condition.

8. Will I receive training on how to inspect vehicles?

No. OMOZERH is seeking experienced automotive professionals. During onboarding, we review our inspection standards, reporting procedures, and quality expectations not basic automotive repair or diagnostic techniques.

9. What areas will I be expected to serve?

Inspectors generally accept assignments within the geographic areas they select during the application process. Travel distance and service areas are discussed during onboarding.

10. Can I decline an inspection request?

Yes. As an independent contractor, you are free to accept or decline inspection opportunities.

11. How will I receive inspection assignments?

Approved inspectors will be contacted when inspection opportunities become available within their selected service area and availability.

12. How and when will I be paid?

Payment details, including compensation structure and payment schedule, will be discussed during the onboarding process and outlined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.

13. Will a background check be required?

Yes. Applicants who advance through the selection process will be invited to complete a background check before joining the OMOZERH Inspector Network.

14. Do I need reliable transportation?

Yes. Inspectors must have reliable transportation to travel to customer and seller locations within their selected service area.

15. Can I work for other companies while working with OMOZERH?

Yes. As an independent contractor, you may provide services to other businesses, provided doing so does not conflict with your obligations under the Independent Contractor Agreement.

16. Will I be reimbursed for travel expenses?
